Women Empowerment Programme
The Women Empowerment Programme has been one of Jagruti’s core initiatives since 1987, dedicated to strengthening the confidence, leadership, and decision-making abilities of women in the community. The programme encourages women to identify and address their own social, economic, and personal challenges through collective participation and mutual support.
Focused on self-reliance and grassroots leadership, the initiative promotes awareness, capacity building, and community organization to help women become active contributors to social change and development. Unlike externally funded projects, this programme is entirely supported by women’s organizations themselves, reflecting their commitment, ownership, and collective strength.
